Come ristrutturare un’antica casa di montagna

Si sviluppa su più piani questa antica casa ristrutturata a Bardonecchia. Dall’ingresso, mediante due rampe di scale si arriva al primo salottino, arredato con grande gusto. In questa zona alcune sono le caratteristiche da notare: innanzitutto la lastra trasparente che chiude un lato del camino, impedendo la fuoriuscita di scintille che potrebbero danneggiare il divano; lo spazio, veramente minimo, è stato sfruttato al centimetro inserendo la scala contro il basamento del camino e creando una panca a elle dove potersi soffermare. La cappa è adorna di numerosi oggetti, mentre il muro in pietra lasciata a vista dona grande rusticità.
This antique restructured home in Bardonecchia is created on several floors. From the entrance, using two stairs flights is the first tastefully decorated living area . There are a few details to notice in this area: above all the transparent slab that encloses a side of the fireplace, impeding the escape of cinders that could ruin the sofa; the space, at a minimum, has been exploited to the centimetre by placing the staircase against the fireplace’s base and creating an L-shaped bench to sit upon. The hood is decorated with various objects, while the exposed stonewall lends a rustic touch.

La parte superiore della casa presenta un tetto a spioventi particolarmente interessante: le grosse travi di sostegno si intersecano, creando scorci scenografici, sul fondo è stata aperta una grande finestra che segue l’andamento della falda. Decorativa è la balaustra in legno sagomato.
The upper part of the house has a particularly interesting sloping roof: the large supporting beams intersect each other creating scenic foreshortening; a large window has been opened at the end following the line of the eaves. The shaped wooden balustrade is also very decorative.
