PAVIMENTAZIONE TESSILE DI ALTA TECNOLOGIA

L’utilizzo del tessuto come pavimentazione, ha origine antiche basti pensare alla nota moquette tutt’ora molto diffusa soprattutto nei paesi anglosassoni perchè ha la caratteristica di trattenere il calore dell’ambiente, facilitare l’isolamento termico, migliorare il comfort deambulatorio e l’insonorizzazione acustica. Ma la moquette ha anche alcuni difetti da non sottovalutare ad esempio non è impermeabile nè ignifuga e non è facilmente lavabile in caso di macchie. La tecnologia però ha fatto passi da gigante e ha permesso di creare pavimentazioni tessili high tech innovative e di design, durevoli
e resistenti alle macchie in modo da essere adatti sia ad usi residenziali che commerciali. Tutto ciò è stato reso possibile grazie alla creazione di una pavimentazione realizzata con fili di PVC rinforzato con fibra di vetro e accoppiato con un fondo omogeneo di PVC adatto sia ad ambienti interni che esterni e in condizioni di umidità. La posa è estremamente semplice infatti si appoggia direttamente sul pavimento (pulito e asciutto) e viene fissato con un prodotto collante; il materiale in eccedenza viene asportato con l’impiego di un taglierino. La manutenzione, come per qualsiasi tipo di pavimentazione, accresce il buono stato del materiale nel tempo.

The use of fabrics for floors goes back a long way. You need only think of the popularity of fitted carpets in Anglo-Saxon cultures: they retain warmth, facilitate heat insulation, are nicer to walk on, and improve sound insulation. Yet fitted carpets also come with their fair share of problems: they are not water- or fireproof, and they are difficult to wash should they be stained. That said, technology has made huge advances that have allowed for the creation of innovative
and designer high-tech fabric floors. These are hardwearing and stain resistant, making them suitable for residential and commercial use. This type of floor covering is made using PVC reinforced with glass fibre, which is paired with a uniform PVC base suitable for interiors and exteriors and for conditions of humidity. Installation is simply a matter of
applying it directly to the floor (clean and dry) using adhesive; excess material is removed with a box cutter. Maintenance, as with any other type of floor, keeps the material in good condition over time.
