HOME AUTOMATION IN THE SERVICE OF OUR HOUSES. A SIMPLIFIED, TAILORED USE OF SOLAR SCREENS IN THE HEART OF THE CITY
L’attico, nelle nostre città affollate e frenetiche, sta assumendo sempre più la funzione di ambiente privilegiato per
l’abitazione e il soggiorno. In un periodo in cui il clima sta subendo delle modifiche radicali è necessario per questo ambiente, che rappresenta il “cappello” degli edifici, porre un’attenzione particolare a interventi di schermatura solare che possano prevenire la creazione di ambienti troppo caldi in estate e freddi in inverno, grazie ad un adeguato utilizzo di sistemi “domotici”. Nel caso di strutture vetrate verticali o ancora di più orizzontali o inclinate, esposte quindi all’irraggiamento solare, è necessario prevedere un sistema di schermatura sia esterna che interna. La schermatura esterna, preferibilmente scorrevole, svolge la funzione di elemento ombreggiante nel periodo estivo, per evitare l’ormai famoso “effetto serra” ed avere in estate ambienti interni torridi e invivibili. Nel periodo invernale l’accumulo di calore negli ambienti interni è un effetto positivo che viene generato non utilizzando la schermatura esterna e regolando la
quantità di luce esclusivamente mediante la schermatura interna. Fortunatamente in questi ultimi anni la ricerca portata avanti nel campo delle schermature solari ha permesso di proporre sul mercato vari sistemi per la movimentazione
automatica delle tende.
The loft in our crowded, chaotic cities is increasingly taking on the function of a great environment to live and spend time. In a period when the climate undergoing radical change, it is necessary for this environment that represents the buildings’ “hat” to pay particular attention to the addition of solar screening that can prevent environments that are too hot in summer and cold in winter being created, through the appropriate home technology systems. In the case of structures made from vertical glazing or,.even more so, horizontal or inclined glazing and thus exposed to the sun’s rays, it is necessary to have an inside and outside screening system. The outdoor screening, preferably of the sliding type acts as a shading element in the summer to prevent the now well-known “greenhouse effect” and having torrid and unliveable rooms in summer. In winter the accumulation of heat in indoors is a positive effect that is generated by not using the outdoor screen and by regulating the quantity of light exclusively using the indoor screening. Fortunately in the last few years the great strides research has made in the solar screening field has led to various automatic curtain sunscreen movement systems being launched on the market.
AUTOMATISMI E “DOMOTICA”
Gli automatismi sono alla base di ciò che oggi è definita “Domotica”, ovvero la scienza che si occupa dello studio delle tecnologie atte a migliorare la qualità della vita nella casa mediante l’uso di apparecchiature, impianti e sistemi “intelligenti”.
Sono così presenti sistemi per la movimentazione delle schermature che si attivano in funzione della presenza o meno di luce naturale sulla parete da schermare, grazie alla presenza di sensori e sistemi che possono essere programmati e personalizzati in base alle esigenze personali dell’utente. Oltre a sistemi che si regolano in funzione della luce sono
presenti anche sistemi pensati per proteggere la tenda dal vento, in cui i sensori consentono di rilevare non solo le oscillazioni orizzontali e verticali della tenda, ma anche quelle laterali e, superata la soglia limite, provvedono al riavvolgimento della tenda stessa. L’utilizzo abbinato di sistemi schermanti sempre più performanti e di automatismi il cui utilizzo semplificato è alla portata di tutti permette già oggi il superamento delle nuove sfide che il clima ci sta proponendo. AUTOMATIC MECHANISMS AND “HOME AUTOMATION”
Automatic mechanisms at the basis of what nowadays is called “Home automation” or the science that deals with the study of the technologies for improving the quality of life at home through the use of equipment and “smart” and other types of system. Thus there are systems for moving the screening that work according to whether there is natural light on the walls to be screened out, detected thanks to the presence of sensors and systems that can be programmed and customised on the basis of the personal needs of the user. In addition to systems that are regulated in accordance with the light, there are also systems designed to protect the screen from the wind where the sensors allow not only the horizontal and vertical movement of the curtain but also the lateral movements and when the limit has been exceeded they automatically roll it up.
