A pavimento è stato Architect Stefano Napolitani of the Waves Project studio has converted this apartment in Milan into a setting characterised by a generous use of pink, the colour of love and kindness. A light wood covering has been used for the floor which naturally enlarges the spaces and gives emphasis to the bright tonalities of the walls without suffocating the place. The floor is the so-called prefinished parquet, today widely used. It is made of a layer of hardwood (which by law has to be at least 2.5mm thick) and a wood-based support. The benefits are the ease and speed of installation in addition to reduced cost, the disadvantage being that it is not so long-lasting and insulates less.
