In these pages, pictures of the garden where the house was built on a single floor. On one side, on a raised level, there is a swimming pool with all comforts, to spend the hot summer afternoons jumping from the springboard into the fresh crystal-clear water and then sunbathing on the comfortable wooden deck-chairs, strictly waterproof, arranged around the pool, or reading a good book in the shade of the lush vegetation. In another corner of the garden, the wooden gazebo is arranged with climbing jasmine plants which emanate an intense smell. The dining table is surrounded by wrought iron chairs with cushions made of fresh white cotton. Next, the summer kitchen in wood and stone with granite top, and a barbecue, also made of stone.
A STONE HOUSE C apoliveri is a nice village on the Elba island, dominating all the surrounding area with terraced vineyards that look onto the underlying sea. The village is the younger among the towns of Elba, the central alleys are ancient and lined with fascinating boutiques where you can do excellent shopping. In this setting, you will find a splendid villa, completely built with stones in the thick of woods, with huge arched windows through which you can enjoy a wonderful view over the bay of Lacona and the island of Pianosa. A warm and cozy house which the designer, architect Accornero, has studied in every single detail, where nothing is missing, from the swimming to the gazebo for outdoor eating, up to the hammock to spend relaxing afternoons in the shade of olive trees. Bathed in the sunlight of Tuscany, this house has turned into a shelter, not only for the summer, to recover a healthy contact with nature, without giving up comfort.
