Travi a vista nel centro di Trento

Un’aerea e comoda scala, con la balaustra e i gradini tutti in legno della stessa essenza del soffitto, collega i due livelli in modo sobrio e insieme spettacolare, permettendo di cogliere con diverse prospettive l’originale volumetria del grande vano centrale. Questo vano è il living della casa, al suo interno si trovano il soggiorno, il pranzo, l’angolo della televisione e della musica, l’ingresso, il salottino d’attesa, eccetera. Su tutto è sempre presente ma senza incombere, il tetto ligneo che con le sue larghe falde conclude lo spazio in modo simbolicamente protettivo. Il grande spazio aperto permette anche di sfruttare al massimo la luce naturale che penetra dalla scarsa superficie finestrata; un effetto aiutato moltissimo dalla scelta del bianco per le pareti e del beige chiaro per la moquette di lana.
An airy and wide staircase, with balustrade and steps in the same wood as the ceiling seriously links the two levels and spectacular group, allowing for different perspectives of the original volumes of the large central room. This room is the house’s living area, and inside is the living room, the dining room, the television and music angles, the entrance, the waiting room, etc. The wooden roof with wide pitches doesn’t hinder and finishes the space in a symbolically protective way. The great open space permits taking the most advantage of the natural light entering the scarce windowed surfaces; an effect aided by the choice of white for the walls and light beige for the wool carpeting.
