In the unpolluted grandeur of Limbara Valley in Sardinia is inserted this swimming pool, the good result of a combination between technology and poetry. Green is the result of a summary among autochthon cultivations and wisterias, pomegranates and soft lawn that opens as sudden green views within the forest. The pool, edged from a wall 18 meters high, drops to the artificial lake thanks to an actual engineering work hidden from the naturalness of the edges. Granite stones have been laid on the swimming pool side to better integrate with the landscape, while entrance areas are made of nice and large beech strands covered with stone slates, which allow laying on the strand in a very natural manner. The apparent spontaneity of the result is due to careful technological solutions such as, for example, the use of reinforced PVC welded in sand colour in order to guarantee the very natural chromatic effects of the water. In the same manner, was made the overflow race covered with local granite slates, above which were made some cracks to let the water in. |
