L’ultima tendenza in fatto di tende ci suggerisce teli lunghi fino a terra, meglio ancora se dotati di strascico. Questa soluzione non pone limiti nella scelta di disegni e colori; può essere più o meno morbida e drappeggiante, ma viene sempre adottata per rendere particolarmente elegante un ambiente. È consigliabile adottare questa soluzione per le sovratende laterali o in quei casi in cui non si renda necessario aprire frequentemente le finestre, perché il drappeggio a terra va sistemato con cura ogni volta che viene spostato, altrimenti più che scenografico il risultato potrebbe apparire spiacevolmente disordinato.
