A cura degli architetti Giuseppe Maria Jonghi Lavarini e R.Fabio Sciacca Risparmio energetico e certificazione degli edifici sono oggi argomenti quanto mai attuali non solo visti in un’ottica di generale rispetto e salvaguardia dell’ambiente, ma anche in un concreto risparmio economico da parte delle famiglie. Nell’ambito di una valutazione energetica che investe tutte le parti da cui è formato un edificio, le schermature solari, in un’area geografica a clima temperato come è quella italiana, assumono una valenza ancora più importante rispetto ai paesi del centro-nord Europa, da sempre sensibili alle tematiche del risparmio energetico e della salvaguardia ambientale. La tenda solare o la schermatura oggi si è definitivamente liberata dal ruolo di componente estetico, per assumere la funzione e il carattere che le sono proprie, ovvero di sistema fondamentale nel bilancio energetico degli edifici, oltre che nella creazione di ambienti confortevoli. Una parte importante in quest’ottica la rivestono le aziende che impegnano sempre più risorse in ricerca e innovazione dei prodotti e dei sistemi. L’obiettivo, riportato sulle pagine della rivista, è stato quello di mettere in contatto gli attori che intervengono nel processo di scelta e utilizzo dei sistemi di schermatura solare: i privati, i progettisti, gli enti pubblici e le aziende stesse, fornendo non solo un abaco di soluzioni per diverse tipologie di intervento, ma riportando lo stato del mercato aggiornato alle ultime novità.
Energy saving and building certification are now very current topics not just in the general terms of respecting and safeguarding the environment but also in terms of concrete monetary savings by families. From the point of view of energy assessments affecting all the components that go into the make up of a building, solar screens in a geographical area enjoying a temperate climate like Italy’s, take on even greater importance when compared with the countries in the centre and north of Europe, which have always been highly sensitive to energy saving and environmental protection. The sun screens or screening has now shaken free once and for all from the role of decoration, to come into its own i.e. as a fundamental system in the energy spending of buildings as well as the creation of comfortable spaces. An important role from this point of view is played by companies that are investing greater and greater resources in the research and innovation of products and systems. The aim, as described in the pages of the magazine, has been to find actors who intervene in the choice and utilisation of solar screening systems. private individuals, designers, public authorities and companies themselves, providing not just a range of alternatives for the different types of intervention but giving a picture of the state of the market updated to take account of with the latest developments.
