A Maso Spilzi in Folgaria è stato allestito un nuovo percorso espositivo dal nome “Tracce di neve”, realizzato dall’Assessorato alla Cultura della Provincia autonoma di Trento in collaborazione con il Comune di Folgaria. Un percorso che ci regala suggestioni ed emozioni legate al passato.
Come racconta il progettista, Sergio Camin, “ Tracce di Neve non vuole essere un museo, ma un luogo capace di suscitare domande, curiosità, riflessioni e ricordi”. L’ambientazione offre uno spunto in più per riscoprire i diversi aspetti legati alla memoria storica. Maso Spilzi, infatti, , risultato della fusione tra una residenza nobiliare fortificata e un maso rurale, è diventato dopo un attento restauro conservativo, un articolato e suggestivo spazio espositivo. E allora ecco che prendono vita un vecchio spartineve, un paio di sci degli anni Quaranta, uno slittino, degli scarponi chiodati, la voce degli anziani che ricordano le grandi nevicate subito dopo la prima guerra mondiale, i rumori della stalla e l’effetto turbinoso della neve che volteggia nell’aria……oggetti e tracce di inverni che sono stati e che saranno che diventano un invito a saper guardare le persone e le cose che circondano con atttenzione e rispetto.

In the Spilzi Maso in Folgaria was set a new exhibition path with the name “Snow traces”, made by the Local Culture Department of the independent Trento district in collaboration with Folgaria Municipality. A path that gives us suggestions and emotions linked to the past.
As the designer Sergio Camin tells us: “ ‘Snow Traces’ does not want to be a museum but a place able to raise questions, curiosity, reflections and memories.” The setting offers a further start point to rediscover the different aspects linked to historical memory. Spilzi Maso, in fact, which is the result of the combination of a fortification aristocratic house with a rural maso, became after a careful conservative restoring an articulated and suggestive exhibition space. And an old snowplough, a pair of skis of the 40s, a sledge and spiked boots revive as the voice of old people, who remember heavy snowfalls after the First World War, the noise from the shed and the whirling effect of the snow that wheels in the air … objects and traces of winters, which were, are and will be an invitation to be able to look at people and things that surrounds us with care and respect.
