I legni antichi delle vecchie baite alpine, anziché essere abbandonati al degrado vengono salvati da ludis legnami: dopo un lungo e attento intervento, nascono nuovi arredi preziosi che sanno trasmettere tutto il calore del legno antico. Le cassapanche, i mobiletti, gli armadi e i tanti altri elementi d’arredo sono lavorati artigianalmente, dipinti a mano o decorati a intarsi. Following a long and delicate operation, new and elegant furniture is made that is capable of transmitting the full warmth of old wood. Chests, small pieces of furniture, wardrobes and more are worked and painted by hand, and decorated with inlaid work.

I legni scelti vengono riportati all’antico splendore con un lungo trattamento: solo dopo essere stati puliti, spazzolati e schiodati sono pronti al nuovo utilizzo. Le essenze scelte dall’azienda sono l’abete, il larice, il rovere e l’olmo: grazie alla naturale bellezza di questi legni, gli arredi realizzati hanno sfumature e venature che ne esaltano il design. E per ottenere ancor più “l’effetto naturale” il legno viene fornito in diverse dimensioni e con leggere differenze di fibre e tonalità. Only after having being cleaned, brushed, and the nails removed, is it ready to be used again. The types of wood used by the company are fir, larchwood, oak, and elm. Thanks to the natural beauty of this wood, the furniture made has nuances and grains that bring out the design. To enhance this ‘natural look’ the wood comes in various sizes and with slight differences in fibre and tonality. This results in real masterpieces that are unique and capable of restoring to a room that feeling of the past.
