Chalet a Megève, in alta Savoia (Francia).
In Megève at Les Choseaux among the snow-covered mountains there is this chalet, which was built in "bois ancien" (salvaged wood), similar to old alpine farmhouses. Even if interior space seems to become smaller due to the low and sloping roof, thanks to the wood, the room is natural and warm. The mansard has French style architecture, sober and refined. In the living room a large wooden fireplace in ancient larch dominates with refractory clay inside. Staircases were built with wooden elements that once were used for external rails In the kitchen monochrome is interrupted from the large grey stone under the nice wooden hood and also by typical red and blue squared shades that make bright colours and materials. Bedrooms and bathroom have the same colour-play .
