In the middle of the forest Un grande appartamento mansardato si trova al primo piano di una villa circondata dai boschi.Vi si accede dall ‘esterno e,attraverso un ‘apertura ad arco,ci si trova in un ampio in- gresso,raffinato nella sua semplicità;lo arredano una panca in legno di linea squadrata e,a contrasto,uno specchio con elaborata cornice dorata.na particolarità da notare,che viene ripresa in tutta l ‘abitazione,è l ‘accostamento di legno nuovo e legno antico di recupero.Questo crea,tra pareti e soffitto,un gioco di colori chiaro/scuro di estrema eleganza. A large mansard flat at the first floor of a villa surrounded from forests.One can enter it from outside and through an arched entrance to reach a large hall,refined thanks to its simplicity;it is furnished with a wooden bench of squared line and,as contrast,a mirror with a rich gilded frame.A detail to be noticed,repeated in the whole apartment,is the combination between modern and ancient salvaged woods. That creates between walls and ceiling a very elegant play of chiaroscuro.
Al centro del soggiorno domina la grande stufa bianca in muratura,elemento di notevole importanza estetica oltre che funzionale,circondata dal tipico sedile in legno.L ‘arredamento è frutto di una ricerca accurata:come per i rivestimen- ti,anche i mobili sono in parte nuovi ed in parte antichi restaurati.Si ripete così il gioco di legni chiari e scuri molto in- teressante. Da notare il bel mobile sagomato e intagliato che spicca sulla parete più scura. Una grossa trave in legno sottolinea il passaggio verso la terrazza.
In the centre of the living room the walled large white stove dominates as an element of high aesthetic and functional importance,surrounded by the typical wooden chairs.Furnishing is the result of an accurate research:as for coverings,also furniture are in part new and in part ancient,as well as restored. In this manner a very interesting chiaroscuro play of woods is repeated. To notice the nice shaped and carved piece of furniture that stands out from the darker walls.A large beam in wood underlines the passage towards the terrace. La zona giorno è un ambiente unico che comprende oltre al soggiorno anche pranzo e cucina.L ‘angolo più caratteristico della casa è sicuramente il bowwindow con il tavolo rotondo circondato da una panca e completato dalla sedia in stile gotico tedesco. L ‘attenzione nell ‘arredo è evidente in ogni particolare decorativo:dalle allegre tende con cuscini intonati,ai piatti appesi alla parete,fino al grande vaso con fiori variopinti. Le altre foto mostrano la cucina,che si sviluppa ad angolo accanto al pranzo.Qui il contrasto chiaro/scuro è dato dall ‘incontro tra il legno di pino chiaro dei mobili e il piano di lavoro in marmo scuro. Tra le due zone funzionali spicca la scala in legno ad andamento curvilineo,arricchita da una balaustra intagliata,che porta ad un piccolo soppalco dove è arredato un angolo per la televisione.
The living area is only one room including in addition to the living room also the dining room and the kitchen.The more characteristic angle of the house is certainly the bow window with the round table surrounded from a bench and completed with a chair in German Gothic style. The care in furnishing is clear in each decoration detail:from the pleasant curtains with matching cushions to the plates hanged to the walls,up to the large vase with multicoloured flowers. Pictures show the kitchen that develops in a corner beside the dining room.Here,the chiaroscuro contrast is given from the meeting between the clear pinewood of the furniture and the worktop in dark marble.Between the two functional areas a wooden staircase with curvilinear run stands out and is enhanced from a carved rail that climbs to a small intermediate floor,where there is a television corner. A detail of the living room with the big stove.At the sides of the arch,symmetrically disposed,there are two valuable statues in natural wood coming from local church,holy fig- ures,of which the owner is very fond. The other picture shows the bedroom,which is simply fur- nished,but with high care for details.Painted wardrobe and side tables of the 19th century are noticeable,so as the other furniture of the local tradition.
