Per questo motivo abbiamo deciso di aprire questo numero di CASE DI MONTAGNA con questa foto di vecchi scarponi da montagna che, impolverati e rotti, sembrano volerci raccontare di lunghe e faticose camminate tra i monti. Una proposta diversa per accompagnarvi in questa nuova escursione tra case splendide, proposte architettoniche e di arredamento, curiosità, notizie sulla produzione in stile alpino, per aiutarvi a creare la casa in montagna dei vostri sogni con fantasia ed un pizzico di ironia come suggeriscono questi scarponi trasformati in insoliti porta-fiori. Ancora una volta, la concreta praticità, suggerita dalle difficili condizioni di vita, sconfina in una suggestiva ricercatezza estetica, come è tipico della cultura alpina.

At this purpose we decided to open this CASE DI MONTAGNA issue with this picture of old ski boots that even though they are broken and dusty seems to tell us long and hard walk among mountains. A different proposal to accompany you throughout this trip among the very nice houses, architectonic and furnishing proposals, curiosities and news on Alpine style production in order to help you in creating the dreamy mountains house with imagination and a bit of irony as these boots turned into unusual flower vases. Once more the real practicalness suggested from the difficult life conditions becomes suggestive and refined appearance as typical of Alpine culture.

I PARTNER DEL PROGETTO “LEARNING SUSTAINABILITY” (TRENTINO, LAPPONIA E ALENTEJO) HANNO SVILUPPATO UN RAPPORTO DI COOPERAZIONE RELATIVO AI METODI E ALLE PRATICHE PER LO SVILUPPO SOSTENIBILE DELLE AREE MARGINALI. IN OGNI AREAPRINCIPALE, I PARTNER DELLE TRE REGIONI PARTECIPANO ALL’EFFETTIVO LAVORO CONGIUNTO A LIVELLO INTERREGIONALE, PER RAGGIUNGERE CONCRETAMENTE IRISULTATI ATTESI IN OGNI REGIONE. I PARTNER HANNO INTENZIONE DI PROSEGUIREIL PROGETTO DOPO LA FINE DELL’ASSISTENZA COMUNITARIA E DI CREARE UNA RETE DI “CENTRI MULTIPOLARI PER LO SCAMBIO DI ESPERIENZE TRA LE AUTORITÀ REGIONALI ELOCALI SULLO SVILUPPO SOSTENIBILE DELLE AREE MARGINALI D’EUROPA”. ILCENTRO MULTIPOLARE TRENTINO DOVRÀ OCCUPARSI DI QUELLE AZIONI CHE RIGUARDANOLO SVILUPPO SOSTENIBILE NELLE AREE MONTANE. PER OSPITARE IL CENTRO MULTIPOLARE TRENTINO LA PROVINCIA AUTONOMA DI TRENTO, PARTNER LEADER DEL PROGETTO, HA RESTAURATO UN EDIFICIO ANNESSO AL CENTRO DI ECOLOGIA ALPINA ALLE VIOTE DEL MONTE BONDONE, COSÌ IMPLEMENTANDO LA STRATEGIA PROVINCIALE VERSO UNO SVILUPPO SOSTENIBILE E DUREVOLE SECONDO CRITERI DI ORGANICITÀ, D’INTEGRAZIONE E DI COMPLEMENTARIETÀ.
Durante il suo Intervento il dott. Gianni Nicolini ha specificato che: “… Le tematiche di intervento del centro multipolare faranno riferimento agli indirizzi e alle raccomandazioni del governo provinciale con particolare attenzione all’individuazione di esperienze e processi di sviluppo locale di potenziale valore e interesse per altre regioni europee, allo sviluppo di programmi di formazione per i responsabili a livello decisionale e pianificatorio della montagna, alla promozione di una collaborazione tra comunità locali, scienziati e politici nella ricerca montana per lo sviluppo sostenibile, allo sviluppo di un efficace sistema di disseminazione dei risultati e alla continua promozione di una cooperazione internazionale per lo sviluppo montano sostenibile. Rispondendo adun’esigenza chiaramente evidenziatasi all’interno dell’Unione Europea negli ultimi anni si vuole creare un’arena di discussione, confronto e interscambio fra tutti gli attori coinvolti nei processi di svilupposostenibile: i decisori politici, gli utenti finali, i pianificatori, iricercatori, le associazioni. …”

"LEARNING SUSTAINABILITY" PLAN PARTNERS (TRENTINO, LAPLAND AND ALENTEJO) DEVELOPED A COOPERATION RELATIONSHIP AS FAR AS REGARDS METHODS AND PRACTICES FOR THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF MARGINAL AREAS. IN EACH MAIN AREA, THE PARTNERS OF THE THREE REGIONS PARTICIPATE TO A CONNECTED WORK AT AN INTERREGIONAL LEVEL IN ORDER TO REALLY REACH THE EXPECTED RESULTS FOR EACH REGION. PARTNERS ARE AIMED TO GO ON WITH THE PLAN AFTER THE END OF THE COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE AND TO CREATE A “MULTIPOLAR CENTER” NETWORK FOR EXPERIENCES EXCHANGE AMONG REGIONAL AND LOCAL AUTHORITIES ON THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF DISADVANTAGED AREAS IN EUROPE. THE TRENTINO MULTIPOLAR CENTER WILL BE ENGAGED WITH THE WORKS THAT REGARDS THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT IN MOUNTAIN AREAS. IN ORDER TO WELCOME THE TRENTINO MULTIPOLAR CENTER, THE INDEPENDENT TRENTO DISTRICT, THE IDEAL PARTNER OF THE PLAN, RESTORED A BUILDING ANNEXED TO THE ALPINE ECOLOGY CENTER IN MONTE BONDONE VIOTE, IMPLEMENTING IN THIS MANNER THE DISTRICT STRATEGY TOWARDS A SUSTAINABLE AND LASTING DEVELOPMENT FOLLOWING COHERENT CRITERIA OF INTEGRATION AND COMPLEMENTARITY.
During his speech Dr. Gianni Nicolini explained what follows: “… Intervention themes from the multipolar center will refer to the decisions and recommandations of the local district government with particular care to the identification of development experiences and processes of possible value and interest for other European regions, to the development of training courses for decision makers and plans makers within the mountains, to the promotion of a collaboration among local communities, mountain scientists and politicians searching for plausible development, that is the development of an efficient results spreading system and constant promotion of the international cooperation for the plausible mountains development. By answering to a clearly underlined need inside the European Union in last years one has wanted to create a discussion and interchange arena among all actors involved in the plausible development processes: decision makers, politicians, final users, planners, researchers, associations …”
