Its rounded shape follows the wall yet is separated from it by a few centimetres in order to increase its visual lightness; treads and risers continue the walnut finish of the parquet. The metal structure follows the progress of the risers and treads in order to keep the sensation of entrance to a minimum. Tread lights built into the walls make walking up the staircase both pleasant and safe. ...L’escalier se trouve sur la ‘’piazzetta’’, l’entrée circulaire, centre stratégique et point de départ de toute la géométrie de la villa. Sa forme courbée suit le mur bien que l’escalier en soit séparé de quelques centimètres pour donner une apparence de légèreté ; marche et contremarche sont la continuation des finitions en bois de noyer du parquet. La structure en métal suit le déploiement des contremarches et des marches afin d’être le moins visible possible dans l’entrée. La estructura, de metal, sigue el desarrollo de las huellas y contrahuellas para reducir al mínimo la percepción desde la entrada. Luces empotradas en la pared indican el camino haciendo segura y confortable la subida.
