La necessità di tener conto delle aumentate richieste in fatto di risparmio energetico e di elevata qualità degli edifici ha indotto la Griffner Haus a sviluppare le pareti esterne “Energy Plus”che presentano uno spessore maggiore di 8 cm e sono ancora meglio coibentate, assicurando in questo modo un ancora migliore valore U. A seconda dell’orientamento sul terreno e della geometria della casa nonchè della distribuzione delle finestrature, i consumi energetici, che nei climi più rigidi raggiungono i 50 kWh/m2a, diventano una piacevole sorpresa. La Griffner Haus propone inoltre certi dispositivi, quali ad esempio impianti di riscaldamento geotermico con pompa di calore oppure sistemi di ventilazione controllata con recupero di calore, che comportano un ulteriore risparmio energetico e aiutano a ridurre i problemi di allergie da polveri e pollini. Inoltre, nella parete esterna “a pannello unico”, la qualità dell`involucro isolante è tale, che la perdita di calore risulta molto ridotta.

The need to consider the enlarged requests of energy saving and high quality of the buildings inducted Griffner Haus to develop “Energy Plus”, outside walls with a larger thickness and better insulation assuring a very good U value. According to the orientation of the land, the geometry of the house and the distribution of the windows, the energy consumptions, that in the rigorous climates reach 50 kwh/mqa, become a pleasant surprise. Griffner Haus created moreover systems such as heating geothermic plants with heat pump or controlled ventilation systems with heat recovery, that produce further energy conservation and help to reduce problems caused by pollen and dust allergies. Moreover, in the “single panel” outside wall the quality of the insulating board is such that the loss of heat is very reduced.
