La novità della società "Il MODULO LEGNOTECNOLOGIA" è sicuramente ciò che, nel panorama ormai abbondante di aziende costruttrici di case di legno, si stava aspettando; un'impresa di costruzioni come unico riferimento che possa seguire l'iter della costruzione in ogni aspetto, dalla progettazione, alla realizzazione delle fondazioni fino al "chiavi in mano" della casa.
"Il bisogno di un riferimento certo", spiega Stefano Lucchese, "ha sempre contraddistinto il rapporto istauratosi tra il committente e l'impresa di costruzioni, ed è per questo motivo che, come ragionamento per la realizzazione di questa nuova società, siamo partiti dalle esperienze pluriventennali della mia impresa che dispone della manovalanza, della logistica, di competenza e grossa esperienza in ambito costruttivo. Troppo facile arrivare con fondazioni già realizzate,
magari facendo gli schizzinosi sulla realizzazione, montare la struttura in legno e poi lavarsene le mani...

La casa a quel punto è solo abbozzata, è da lì che scatta il meccanismo delle finiture, degli impianti e la risoluzione
di mille problemi.
Il tutto viene ovviamente modificato nei materiali utilizzati, che vedono l'utilizzo delle pareti pretagliate in legno lamellare incrociato, al posto delle strutture in laterocemento e l'utilizzo di isolanti e finiture idonee alle prestazioni termiche e di permeabilità delle costruzioni.
Il confronto prestazionale vede queste strutture assolutamente avvantaggiate, come velocità di costruzione, costo certo e prestabilito, prestazioni acustiche e termiche. Quello che tentiamo di stabilire, è l' ottimimizzazione delle strutture in legno in fase di progettazione.
Grazie ad alcuni accorgimenti in questo senso, studiati a tavolino preventivamente e concordati con il progettista o con il committente, si riescono a ridurre sensibilmente gli "sprechi" dovuti ai tagli e ottenere così il massimo delle prestazioni strutturali. Questo, ovviamente, consente di tagliare alcuni dei costi.
In questo senso la libertà progettuale che lasciamo ai progettisti non viene limitata. E' poi compito nostro, rivedere i progetti in base al nostro know-how e portare a termine la progettazione."
"Non abbiamo case da catalogo; la nostra filosofia è quella di venire incontro alle necessità del cliente in pieno concerto con i suoi desideri: seguiamo passo per passo la progettazione, oppure progettiamo noi tramite il nostro pool di progettisti, consigliando le soluzioni maggiormente adatte all'utente finale. The new product by 'Il Modulo Legnotecnologia' is no doubt what the by now competitive market for wood houses has been waiting for: a construction company that would act as a sole reference point, capable of following every phase of the building process, from its design to the creation of foundations and the final delivery of the house. 'The need for a definite point of reference,' explains Stefano Lucchese, 'has always marked out the rapport between the customer and the building company, and so for this reason we decided to create a new company starting from the twenty years' experience acquired with my company, making use of its labour, logistics, skills and experience in the building sector.' 'It is all too easy to turn up, foundations already made - perhaps complain a little as to how they were made - assemble the structure in wood and then leave... at this point the house is only a skeleton; it is from here on that all the trimmings, installations and countless problems need to be taken care of.
Everything changes owing to the materials used, such as the factory-made walls in glulam instead of cement, or the use of insulators or trimmings that are appropriate for the thermal and proofing properties of the building. In terms of performance, these buildings definitely have the cutting edge: they are faster to build, have definite set costs, and good acoustic and thermal performance. What we are trying to establish is the optimisation of the wooden structure during the design phase.
Thanks to certain devices previously looked at during the design phase, 'wastage' is reduced considerably in such a way as to obtain maximum performance from the structure. This, needless to say, means certain costs can be cut. In this sense, there is no limit to the freedom of design that we give our architects. It is then up to us to revise the project based on our know-how, and to complete the design. We have no “catalogue” houses; our philosophy is to meet the needs of the client in full. Step by step we go through the design and offer solutions that are most appropriate for the end user. Everything is then delivered finished down to the last detail. This means from the foundations all the way to the roof. The partnerships we have created with leading companies in the wood sector mean we are able to meet everyone's needs.’
