Deltafond

Nata in provicia di Udine nel 1978 come fonderia di ghisa e delle prime fusioni per fumisteria, Deltafond ha proseguito
la sua attività con la produzione di piastre radianti in ghisa, forni di cottura in ghisa, portine, griglie e quanto necessario a riportare in auge il vecchio “spolert”, che per oltre cento anni era stato l’unico strumento per cuocere i cibi e per riscaldare nel Friuli Venezia Giulia e nelle vicine Austria e Slovenia. Da anni taverne e cucine realizzate in vera muratura sono manufatti della produzione. Nella foto, taverna in muratura realizzata a disegno con lo spolert Deltafond classico. Realizzata con elettrodomestici ad incasso, cappa in muratura con mensola in legno, mattone rosso ad angoli arrotondati, vano ad arco per la legna e uscita fumi sottopiano con portina d’ispezione.

Established in the province of Udine in 1978 as a cast-iron foundry making casts for cooking and heating appliances, Deltafond has broadened its production to include cast-iron hotplates, ovens, doors, grilles and whatever else is needed to bring the old kitchen range (the spolert) back in vogue, which for more than one hundred years was the only instrument used for cooking food and for heating in Friuli Venezia Giulia and neighbouring Austria and Slovenia.

The company has been making taverns and real kitchens in masonry for years. The photograph shows a masonry tavern made using the classic Deltafond kitchen range. It is made with fitted household appliances, a masonry cooker hood with wooden shelf, red brick with rounded corners, arched compartment for wood storage, and smoke exit with small inspection door.
